When it comes to having your week run smoothly, having your meals planned and the ingredients you need already in the house just makes sense. Why not set your week up for success and less stress, might I add. All you need to do is set a little bit of time aside and start!
How Many meals do you need to plan for? Start with one week at a time. Look at your calendar for the week and see what you have going on during the week. Taking a quick look at the schedule will help give you an idea of how many meals you need to plan for.
What do you have time for? Is it a busy week? Plan for quick simple meals that you can manage on days when time is limited. Crock pot meals, make ahead meals etc.
Make a list and set a budget. Don’t go into the grocery store without setting a dollar amount to how much you want to spend! Make sure to make a shopping list and STICK to it. Probably best not to go shopping when you are hungry!!
A few weeks of meal planning you will learn what works best for you and your family. Happy Planning!
